Dr. Maci Hebert has worked in special education for over 15 years. In that time she has worked as special education teacher and case manager for preschools, public schools, private schools, facility schools, charter schools and correctional faciliities. She has written IEPs and special education paperwork for all types of educational environments and is a licensed special education teacher in several states across the country. While working in special education she realized the job of a special educator is multiple jobs in one and this work demand lead to many great educators to leave the field completely.
Adam Hebert is a behavior interventionist for serving in the field for over 20 years has worked in facility schools, public schools and hospitals. He worked with methods of Applied Behavioral Analysis and positive psychology to create meaningful behavior change in students.
Together they identified the best way to keep high quality professionals in the field was to reduce the work demand and increase research based practices. They created Ready or Not Child Development Services to allow educators to focus on providing high-quality services while their team handled the essential paperwork and professional development services needed to ensure individualized learning for students with disabilities. Their attention to details and the knowledge of research based practices lead to the creation of truly individualized special education planning paperwork so teacher could focus on creating meaningful services both inside the general education classroom and in small group support settings.
